2. Orthodontists

Orthodontists are trained to perform special jaw alignment surgeries and treat different teeth irregularities to improve a patient's bite. They provide treatments using devices such as braces, retainers, and bands to create the perfect smile.

3. Periodontists

Periodontists specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of gum disease as well as issues that affect the bones in your mouth. They can perform extensive gum repair and procedures to help prevent any further damage to the gums. In addition, they provide information and education on periodontal disease and teach you how to effectively clean your teeth to avoid any further issues.

4. Endodontists

Endodontists are dental specialists who work specifically with the nerves of the teeth. If there are any troubles or issues with a nerve, an endodontist is your best friend. They receive an additional 2-3 years of schooling specializing in the diagnosing and treatment of tooth pain, which qualifies them to perform root canals.

5. Prosthodontists

A prosthodontist is one who specializes in fixing the teeth and jaw. They provide cosmetic surgeries to one's teeth and fit in veneers, bridges, crowns, and dentures to prevent or correct problems like broken, missing, or uneven teeth.
