Low or No Sugar Holiday Cookie Recipes

During the holidays is it harder to maintain healthy amounts of sugar. It seems everything wonderful about the holidays revolves around sweets. Even the memories we make every year are sweet. However, that last thing on our minds is a trip to the dentist because of tooth decay caused by a high sugary diet. Therefore, we’ve put together a small list of really tasty treats that won’t leave you with a sugar buzz or a rotten tooth.

First is a recipe for chocolate and oatmeal cluster cookies. This can be made sugar free or low sugar. These are great and taste great too. I found a really good recipe here: http://www.kalynskitchen.com/2008/12/two-recipes-for-sugar-free-and.html

Another delicious looking cookie that I am hoping to try this winter is a pistachio cookie. Sugar free and low in carbs and gluten free. It’s a healthy cookie for the holidays that will make the sugar count low. The recipe I’m looking forward to is here: http://www.kalynskitchen.com/2008/12/recipe-for-flourless-sugar-free.html

A home run for you and your family. Let us know how they went over on our Facebook page or below on our comments box.
