Dental Health Resolutions To Keep

A+ A- A Main Content

Group of kidsEach year that passes by we make all the usual new year resolutions.  Work out more, eat less junk and be happy.  This year let’s add oral hygiene and dental health to your list of resolutions...that you keep.

First, let’s try just improving tooth brushing habits.  Sounds easy enough and it will go quite a long way in helping your oral health.  Start brushing and flossing twice a day and you will quickly notice a change in your overall oral health.  Three times a day if you are feeling extra motivated to get back your pearly white smile.

Our next suggestion may coincide with some of your more traditional new year's resolutions.  Eat and drink healthier options.  An important part of hitting your dental resolutions is your diet and how much sugar your teeth are exposed to.  Cut back or stop completely, drinking soda or sugary sports drinks.  Rethink that starbucks coffee too.  This is a 2 for 1 here.  Not only will you feel better your overall health will improve and your teeth will show it!

Finally the best thing you can do for your smile and your teeth in the new year is make and hold regular appointments.  Plus we love seeing you and hearing about all your new adventures.
